One of the things I looked forward to during my first ever visit to Hong Kong was trying out their famous egg waffles (雞蛋仔) . I first saw it around  Times Square Mall for HKD20. It was more expensive than I thought it would be because it was streetfood, but I definitely enjoyed its crunchy-soft egg-y deliciousness. When I thought I wasn’t craving for it anymore, we accidentally came across Oddies after having lunch in Gough street (which is a must go to place for foodies. The restaurants there all look enticing!). We saw the photo of the egg waffles with gelato and we were sold!

LAN KWAI FONG, HONG KONG

Lan Kwai Fong is a popular clubbing/nightlife area in Central, Hong Kong. Locals and foreigners alike can choose among the numerous bars, clubs and restaurants around. We went there with the purpose of staying in one club, but there were so many people, and quite frankly I don’t enjoy noisy places that much so it seems like we ended up doing a photo shoot around the area instead. LOL.

Gyu Jin Shabu Shabu & Sukiyaki, Hong Kong

For some people, comfort food means french fries, mac and cheese, fried chicken and cakes. What comforts me the most though is hot pot (or shabu shabu as we call it). There’s nothing like that warm soup of delicious broth and spices running down from my throat to my stomach giving me a warm hug from within. lol.

Gyu Jin Shabu Shabu and Sukiyaki was simply the perfect conclusion to a tiring day walking around the streets of Hong Kong. It was delicious, satisfying and UNLIMITED. Woo hoo!
