Hogs and Cattle, Century Mall
Wagyu. Unlimited. Put these two words together and Jeff and I will come running. That’s why we tried out the unlimited wagyu in Hogs and Cattle in Century Mall. Wagyu is pretty high quality meat so upon learning the price, I wasn’t expecting much. But even though I was right about the steak being ‘less than impressive’, I won’t write off Hogs and Cattle out of my list just yet.
Gyu Jin, Tsim Sha Tsui
For some people, comfort food means french fries, mac and cheese, fried chicken and cakes. What comforts me the most though is hot pot (or shabu shabu as we call it). There’s nothing like that warm soup of delicious broth and spices running down from my throat to my stomach giving me a warm hug from within. lol.
Gyu Jin Shabu Shabu and Sukiyaki was simply the perfect conclusion to a tiring day walking around the streets of Hong Kong. It was delicious, satisfying and UNLIMITED. Woo hoo!
There’s a hidden gem in the old Sunvar Plaza in Makati and it’s called Japanese Wagyu Beef.
YES! If you love steak, and you love your steak really really really really fatty and soft, then you must try this hole-in-the-wall that serves Japanese Steak like as it should be.
