Hogs and Cattle, Century Mall
Wagyu. Unlimited. Put these two words together and Jeff and I will come running. That’s why we tried out the unlimited wagyu in Hogs and Cattle in Century Mall. Wagyu is pretty high quality meat so upon learning the price, I wasn’t expecting much. But even though I was right about the steak being ‘less than impressive’, I won’t write off Hogs and Cattle out of my list just yet.
Kyo-To, Legazpi Village
The restaurant itself will probably not catch your attention, but Kyo-to is definitely not one to miss especially if you love Japanese food as much as I do. The only things loud about the place are the food and of course, the chef himself Chef Kawamoto who worked for no less than the Japanese ambassador.
They say it’s authentic Kaiseki Ryori (Japanese multi course meal) but I can’t judge because I’ve never been to one. All I know is that I left happy and satisfied and barely breathing. lol 😀
RED CARPET READY, BDJ BOX
I was so excited to come home to this little box of goodies from Belle de Jour – the makers of the Belle de Jour Power Planners.
This box was filled with great products from two very well established brands – Shiseido and Elizabeth Arden. It has all the basics for a glam, put together look perfect not just for everyday but even on a red-carpet as well. Very French if you ask me. Here are what’s inside my BDJ Box.
Tian Tian Buddha, Ngong Ping
One of my favorite parts of our Hong Kong trip was visiting the Tian Tian Buddha in Ngong Ping. To see it we went to Lantau Island via the Ngong Ping 360 which is a 20 minute cable car ride from Tung Chung.
My lips are quite pigmented especially on the corners and it has been my insecurity for the longest time. It makes my lips look discolored and To cover this, I would just put concealer over my lips and make the canvass as even colored as possible but I found that this method makes my lips feel a little cakey.
That’s why I was so happy to discover the wonderful world of lip priming with MAC Prep + Prime Lip Base (Php1000).
RAGING BULL CHOPHOUSE & BAR, BGC
Jeff and I have been together for 2 years and 3 months (officially) and although monthsaries aren’t as much of a milestone as anniversaries,it’s nice to keep on dating like the first time – not to mention it’s also a great excuse to stuff ourselves with great food. LOL.
We celebrated this month at The Raging Bull which is a steak house in the fairly new Shangri La at the Fort.
One of the things I looked forward to during my first ever visit to Hong Kong was trying out their famous egg waffles (雞蛋仔) . I first saw it around Times Square Mall for HKD20. It was more expensive than I thought it would be because it was streetfood, but I definitely enjoyed its crunchy-soft egg-y deliciousness. When I thought I wasn’t craving for it anymore, we accidentally came across Oddies after having lunch in Gough street (which is a must go to place for foodies. The restaurants there all look enticing!). We saw the photo of the egg waffles with gelato and we were sold!
